It's time to press pause in a deep and meaningful way. Soul speak restorative invites you to tune in to the language of the soul. We will acknowledge the beginning of season of summer, with restorative yoga and sound healing. This practice is designed to cultivate a deep sense of relaxation, calming the parasympathetic nervous system and creating homeostasis throughout the body. In her sound therapy sessions, April creates peaceful conditions to reduce stress, promote deep relaxation and to induce overall levels of inner-harmony and self-Soul-alignment. A life-long learner, April initially sought sound training to reduce stress and lessen physical discomfort. Consequently, having a desire to further understand the indigenous approaches of sound harmonics, she has deepened her studies delving into the science of sound via rigorous practicums on the neuro-acoustics of sound. As a result, her sound repertoire has expanded to embrace the Gong as a focal point of her practice. April has facilitated sound meditations at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the Phoenix & Dragon Bookstore, the Natural Mystic Fair, Sevananda Natural Foods Market, Ahimki Wellness Center, the Dekalb County Jail and on WRFG 89.3 radio. She has a growing clientbase who benefit from her unique private/groups sessions. You can often find her at Sevananda Natural Foods Market where she regularly hosts, well attended, group sound meditations.

Yoga & Book Club

Yoga & Book Club

October Book "The Best Yes" by Lysa TerKeurst.  The author discusses how to cure the disease to please with a biblical understanding of the command to love; how to escape the guilt of disappointing others by learning the secret of the small no; how to overcome the agony of hard choices by embracing a wisdom based decision-making process; and, how to rise above the rush of endless demands and discover your best yes today.

The theme of this book is "Life Balance".  Making wise decisions in the midst of endless demands.

We will gather for 4 weeks, all the Friday evenings in October. We will have the book and the study guide to follow. At the beginning of each evening, we will have a 10 minute gentle yoga flow to get the blood warm and the mind geared for thoughtful and open discussion on our topics for the week.  Each meetup we will serve and partake in food, beverages and support for life-balance.

There will be a $10 registration fee for the month. There is a $30 option that will include the book, study guide and registration. We will order them at cost through Amazon Prime.

Masterful and intentional, DEEP is restorative movement sequence that utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique® to connect mind to muscle and catalyze vibrational change on a cellular level. Unlike other Buti® trademarked formats, DEEP is low-impact and focuses on micro-movements with physical touch to connect the brain to innervated muscle and restructure the deep core. DEEP is designed to prevent injury, restore innervation and assist in the recovery of bladder/ uterine prolapse and diastasis recti. The class structure also includes self-massage and pressure point activation to release muscles during deep restorative asanas. Class duration ranges 75-90 minutes + 7 minute meditation.

DEEP is a POWERFUL practice to add to your instructor tools and repertoire.

This format compliments all existing Buti® formats and is a gentle introduction to the spiral structure technique.
